What's new!

Things around here have been moving along at a steady pace. I kind of find it hard to believe that tomorrow is June already!! Well for the last two weekends in a row a few of my Sisters and I put a booth in a craft fair. I had brought a doll that my husband and I made, and also a few rag rug hot pads also. I also brought some balloons to make into some balloon animals to sell. Well needless to say I didn't sell anything but 12 balloons, but the other ladies did a little better then me though. I'm so glad they did. It was OK that we didn't sell that much, because I still got to spend two Saturday with my Sisters!!! I thought I would share a few pictures with you all. 

Here we are waiting and waiting for customers. It was really windy and over cast that day, so a lot of people didn't come out for the fair.

Here is Shaniqua just hanging out and visiting with us. She didn't bring anything to sell, just her good company! The things on the table are Lauren's. Bandanna bibs, burp cloths, and receiving blankets to name a few things there.  


Here is Chandler and here Grandma. They made little girl's pillowcase dresses. They were just beautiful!! And Chandler had made some super soft receiving blanket and crib blankets. Very Beautiful!! 

Oh here is our little model Sheamus. Modeling one of the bandanna bibs. He was such a good boy!!! He loved looking and talking to the people that did happen to come by. 

Here is the doll and hot pads I brought. Isn't she just the sweetest thing!! Think I'm keeping her. I need to give her a name.

Here I'm with the Sisters that went to the craft fair. Our Sweet Sister Tabatha in the white sweater next to me on the left, Invited us to go get coffee at this very fancy coffee shop in Campbellsville Ky, it was her treat to us!! It was such a blessing!!! Thank you Sister!!! Well that is about it!! Hope you were blessed!! May the good Lord Bless you and Keep you!!

Kentucky Derby!!!


Going to the Kentucky Derby is very different for a Street Preachers wife than for the usual type of person that goes there. We don't get all dressed up in immodest cloths with crazy hats, we don't drink, or even gamble. But we try to reach out to the lost sinner!!! I don't preach, but I hand out Gospel tracks and witness one on one. But my husband does preach and so does several of the men from our Fellowship!! There are other preachers and their wives also there, from over several states away.
 Let me share my day at the Kentucky Derby with you!! Well it was a beautiful day for a outreach, warm and sunny, but the day started out slow. Anytime we go out to preach and witness we call it a outreach. We had some delays in leaving the house for the Derby. But we still got there in plenty of time for the men to do some preaching and to hand out many gospel tracks. We live about 2 1/2 hrs from Louisville KY were the Derby takes place.

This lovely couple, Josh and Jenna Lovell rode with us to the event. It was such a blessing to have them with us!! Check out Josh's Obey God hat!!

 We had to walk from the parking lot to the Derby. Going through college neighborhoods because the University of Louisville was very close to the derby. All along the way the college students and local residents where having derby parties!! Most of them had started early that morning and was going to last well into the night. Just lots and lots of drunkenness everywhere!!! You know most drunkard will use any reason to have a party to get drunk!! As we where walking through there was people just walking from one party to another, or should I say stumbling. It was very very sad to see!!

Also some of the people that lived in the neighborhoods around the derby put up stands to sell food, beer and water to the people that were walking from the parking lots to the derby. And also were letting people park in there yards for a price, usually $20-$50 for the day. 

Here is one of the parties going on, with indecently dressed women and Red Bull energy drink cars out front!! So so sad!! Women cover up and put some more cloths on!!!

This is were the upper class people were hanging out and getting drunk before the race!! The women are still immodestly dressed, but it just cost them more to dress that way!!! Still very sad!! 

Well what can I say about this?? Some rich young men having fun bumping and grinding on some sports bar waitresses  Wickedness!!! It just gets sicker and sicker the closer we walk to the derby!!! You can just see the anything goes attitude all around as we keep walking down the sidewalk.  This is no place for people to bring their children, but they do bring their children!! So sad!!!!

Do you see the difference between a modest women and a immodest half naked women?? the modest women is my dear Sister Jenna.

This man wasn't happy with the preaching of God's word!!!! He loves his sin more than he loves God!!!

Love the signs, we try to make people think when they read them. This picture was taken from under a tree in the shade. We all were taking turns taking breaks, because the sun was really warm that day!!

This is man is passed out drunk!!! What is sad is his friends just left him like this!! He wasn't the only one I saw passed out!! I also saw a women so drunk that she was stumbling along on the sidewalk and then just stopped and sat down and passed out right there.

This is a picture of the young man that had passed out in the above picture. With his awful friends who are laughing at him and getting their pictures taken with him!!! So sad to watch!!! The should be a shame of them selves!! But they aren't!

Here is my beloved preaching! He has a heart for the lost sinners!! It is a blessing to be his wife!!

As we were leaving Tracy wanted for me to take a picture of the Derby Museum. So just before I took the picture this young man in the picture asked if he could be in it. So they posed for me. It was quite strange! At least she wasn't as immodest as some of the ladies I saw that day. I did tell her I liked her hat!!

When the outreach is over we all like to pick a place to meet and have a fellowship dinner. It is such a blessing to fellowship with the Saints!!
