Learning how to knit, and loving it!

I have a dear Sister in Christ that has taught me how to knit. So I'm working on my first project!!! I'm so excited!!! It is a shawl!!!! Another Sister has blessed me with some very very nice yarn!!! Some dark green baby merino wool, lighter green and gold blended reg merino wool, and a blended pink, browns, and greens blended bamboo yarn, It is coming together so nice. I can't wait to see it all done!!! Here are some pictures!!

What do you think? Do you like the colors?? It is still pretty small yet, it's going to get a lot bigger!!!

This was shared on this blog!! Please come by and join the fun!

  5. Hi Kelly! I was so happy to hear from you! I've thought about you now and then wondering how you are doing and your daughters young family too. I haven't done a lot of blogging because nearly everyone I know moved to facebook. I don't like facebook. I refuse to put my personal life on there. So my cyber world has been lonely.
Your knitting is beautiful and the colors remind me of you! Your Lilac Cottage Homestead too. Just perfect. I do crochet but knitting always intimidated me. I've ventured into paper crafts including book making. I'll post my storage project in the next couple days. I actually just got different drawer pulls for it but I'll explain it in the post.
Some minor changes going on at home I will also post about. I'll do a plan for 2015 post to update.
Now that I have someone to blog with I'll post more often.
    God Bless!
